No Family Should Face a Burn Crisis Alone.

Providing lodging, meals, and compassionate support to families facing the uncertainty of a loved one’s burn injury.

The Mission

When a loved one suffers a devastating burn injury, life changes without warning. Families are suddenly navigating the unfamiliar, the unimaginable, and the overwhelming realities of critical burn care.

The Addington Foundation for Burn Families exists to provide immediate lodging and meal assistance to families of hospitalized burn patients, easing the practical burdens of those first critical days so they can remain where they are needed most – beside their loved one in the burn ICU.

the heart behind our mission

We Cannot Undo the Moment That Alters Everything. But Together, We Can Shape What Comes Next.

A medical crisis asks more of a family than anyone can see. They must absorb difficult information, advocate for someone they love, steady one another and somehow continue through hours that feel impossible.

In those moments, even the smallest demand draws from strength already stretched thin.

We believe preserving that strength is a meaningful form of care. When one worry is lifted, something invaluable is returned: the capacity to endure through what comes next.

That is the heart behind our mission – to create margin where crisis has left none.

“

I believe the measure of life is found not simply in what we accomplish, but in what we make possible for others.”
